BUILDING THE COPPER KINGDOM

The Influence Experiment

Everybody counts followers. Nobody counts who actually moves.

The ask is simple. One penny, and two more requests, to two people you choose. That is it. No card, no signup, no product.

What the math does is make you responsible for everyone who comes after those two — potentially thousands of people, every one of whom can see who sent them and who answered. That is a great deal of influence for the simplest and literally the cheapest thing anyone has ever been asked to do. It only requires the follow-through. That is what makes it a challenge, and that is what this page is here to show.

Send one, then ask away

Every two people start a branch, and the branch is yours. It becomes your traffic. They got the link from you, and the next ones got it from your people, and so on down. Send them back with a request — return, share, follow, whatever you want that traffic to do. The metrics get real, fast. You can watch your own branches grow against everyone else's, which is exactly as competitive as you decide to make it.

Team up with the others on this board and trade branches. Grow by sharing instead of hoarding, because nothing here is zero-sum — a branch that grows under an ally still grows under you.

And it is only a penny that you spent. Total. Not each time. One penny.
Still think they are worthless?

The invites are free and there is no limit on them. Ask two, ask two hundred — it is the only lever you have, and it costs nothing to pull.

Masters of Cent Content

Ranked on the size of the branch underneath them. Titles are earned by handing out invites, and invites cost nothing, so the only thing standing between any two rows on this board is how many people got asked.

The honours

Six rungs, earned on the number of people in the branch below you — not just the two you asked, but everyone who came in under them. They are silly on purpose. They are also the only scoreboard here that anyone can climb, and climbing it costs nothing.

1st
Pennywise
You dropped one. You are in the experiment.
2
Wheatie Whiz
Both of your asks landed. The branch is alive.
10
Copper Ambassador
Ten people deep. You are carrying it now.
50
Lincoln Leader
Fifty. Your branch outgrew the room you asked in.
250
Penny Prince/ess
Two hundred and fifty strangers, from one penny.
1,000
Copper King/Queen
A thousand under you. This is the top of the wall.

Nothing is attached to any of these. No money, no cut, no prize — a title, a row on this page, and whatever bragging rights the numbers earn.

What these two numbers are, exactly

Referred in

People who arrived through their link and dropped a penny, plus everyone who came after them down the branch. A real count of real joins, not an estimate. This is the number rank is set on.

Sent back

People who left this page for one of their profiles. This is the side of the trade nobody measures, and it is the reason the links sit on the board instead of in a footer.

What is not measured, and will not be guessed at: impressions, reach, watch time, or anything that happens on their side of the wall. Both numbers above are counted here, on this server, when somebody actually navigates. That is the whole limit of what can be known honestly, so it is the whole of what is published.

Alliances

Two people who team up both show on each other's row, and each sends traffic to the other. An alliance appears only once both have named the other, so nobody gets to attach themselves to a bigger account on their own.

Take a slot

Send a handle, a display name, and the links you want on the board. You get /i/yourhandle and a row. That is the entire arrangement.
